Sometimes, when life gets busy, or loud, we believe pushing through the noise will eventually get us through unscathed. What we don’t always realize is that this can cause the volume to increase, and pain to surface in ways we didn’t intend, whether that is toward loved ones, the world, or ourselves. Having a consistent space for yourself in a constantly changing world allows room to rest, breathe, and reset. It creates an opportunity to lean more deeply into self-compassion, unpack what you’ve been carrying, and make more space to notice and enjoy what’s around you as you move forward.
I provide trauma-informed care, recognizing how lived experiences affect emotions, thoughts, and your nervous system. Our work is collaborative and paced to your comfort. I am EMDR trained and may integrate CBT, mindfulness, and IFS-informed techniques, with additional training to support high-stress roles within the military and first responder communities, as well as their partners and family members. Being a military spouse myself, I can understand certain layers and dynamics unique to this community within multiple lenses to provide neutral support and resources.
I also have a focus working with survivors of abuse and human trafficking, and spent most of my time in college and my internship working with foundations to promote advocacy for survivor rights and safe housing.
Everyone deserves a space for themselves, no matter what you are navigating- and I hope to provide a space for you to set down and repurpose what you are carrying.
You are the expert on your own story. I’m here to support you through the challenges you carry while helping you build coping skills, self-compassion, and offer a space to honor your experiences and move forward with confidence and ease. You deserve to remember just how capable you are.
